Privacy notice
This page says what information we hold, why, and what your rights are — whether you are visiting this website, running a business that uses CallCatcher, or you rang a business and our assistant answered. It is written to match what the service actually does.
Who we are
Call Catcher is a trading name of Keelson Holdings Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under number 17359226, whose registered office is 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ. Keelson Holdings Ltd is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. You can reach us about anything on this page at info@shipitstudio.co.uk.
Visiting this website
This site has no sign-up forms, no accounts and no login. It sets no cookies. Three things happen in the background:
- Hosting. The site is served by Vercel, whose servers keep standard request logs (your network address and the pages requested) for security and operations.
- Analytics. We use Vercel Web Analytics, which counts page views in aggregate without cookies. We see how many people visited, not who you are.
- Fonts. The typefaces load from Google Fonts, so your browser requests them from Google's servers, which see your network address in that request.
If you email us
Almost every button on this site opens your own email app — nothing is collected until you choose to write to us. If you do, we hold your email address and whatever you send in order to answer you and follow the conversation up. The lawful basis is legitimate interests: you wrote to us about the service. We do not add you to any mailing list, because we do not have one, and we will delete the correspondence if you ask.
If you subscribe to a plan online
The Missed-Call Recovery and Full AI Receptionist buttons hand you over to Stripe's own hosted checkout page on stripe.com. No part of a payment happens on this site: your card details are typed into Stripe's page, not ours, and we never see or store them. What comes back to us is the record of the subscription and the billing details needed to invoice you and run your account — normally a name, an email address and a billing address.
Stripe is our payment processor, and a controller in its own right for fraud prevention and its own regulatory duties. It sets its own cookies on its own pages; it sets none on this one. Its notice is at stripe.com/gb/privacy. Our lawful bases are performance of a contract, and the legal obligation to keep accounting records — which is why billing records outlive a cancellation, even though nothing else does.
The Group plan and the free demo are still plain email links: nothing is collected there until you write to us. The terms that apply to a subscription are at callcatcher.uk/terms.html.
When we answer calls for a client business
CallCatcher answers and texts back calls on behalf of the businesses that subscribe to it. The people ringing are the client's customers, and the data belongs to that relationship:
- The client business is the data controller for its callers; Keelson Holdings Ltd acts as a processor, on the client's documented instructions, under a written agreement.
- To do the job, the service handles caller phone numbers, call recordings and transcripts, the summaries and job cards it produces, and booking details a caller gives (such as a name, postcode and what needs doing). These go to the client by text and email, and nowhere else.
- Missed-call text-backs are sent to the caller's number on the client's behalf, because that caller just rang the client.
- Caller data is used only to run the client's service — never for our own marketing — and retention is agreed with each client during setup, as our FAQ says.
We use a small number of suppliers to run the service: hosting and cloud infrastructure, telephony and AI voice processing, transactional messaging and email, and Stripe for payments. Each acts as a sub-processor under contract, and we name the specific providers in each client agreement — or on request.
If you rang a business and our assistant answered
You called the business's own number; CallCatcher picked up on their behalf, and anything you said — your number, your message, your booking — went to that business. They are the controller of your call, so questions about your data are best sent to them, but you can equally write to us at info@shipitstudio.co.uk and we will deal with it on their instructions or put you in touch.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, object to our processing, and ask us to restrict it. Email info@shipitstudio.co.uk and we will respond within a month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Kept honest. This notice describes what the website and service actually do. Last reviewed 2 September 2026, when online subscription went live and the terms of service were published — if what we collect changes, this page changes with it.
